The Bottled Water Hoax

By Water Liberty October 26, 2017 0 comments

We’re going to let you in on one of the biggest scams known to mankind: The Bottled Water Industry.

We all need clean drinking water in order to live and we have been made to believe that bottled water is safer to drink than tap water.

However, the bottled water industry is not held to the same safety standards and regulations as our tap water is. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) tested brand name bottled water companies whose water came back more polluted than tap water! Pollutants such as caffeine, pharmaceuticals, arsenic, radioactive isotopes, nitrate, ammonia, and even industrial chemicals were found in bottled water.

In some states, it’s legal for bottled water companies to use public tap water, and then resell the packaged water at a 280,000% mark up.

Don’t fall under the bottled water advertisement scheme -- pictures of clean springs and glaciers on their labels; it’s all a hoax.

Another huge health factor that needs be addressed is the safety of the plastic water bottle itself. Is it truly a safe container to store water in?

Most likely NOT.

Plastic leaches harmful cancer-causing chemicals like BPA, PCB, and phthalates.

BPA and phthalates are endocrine disruptors, meaning they can mimic our natural hormones and disrupt our endocrine system resulting in breast, prostate, and testicular cancer along with infertility, and disruption of the brain and reproductive system development.

Professor Richards Sharpe of the Medical Research Council Centre for Reproduction Health is a global authority on endocrine disruptors and he confirms the dangers of these chemicals despite the fact that the plastic industry is claiming that there is nothing harmful about their products.

The EU has stepped up and banned the use of phthalates in their plastic products including children’s toys and packages foods.

Are you familiar with plastic that is soft and pliable? Yep, it’s most likely got phthalates in it.

Ever noticed how reusable water bottles become brittle over time? That means the toxic plastics have probably leached into your water and you’ve just drank them all.

Best way around this is to filter your own tap water with a great water purifier system so you won’t need to rely on bottled water any more.

All the best,
