Aspartame – The Deadliest Food Additive Of All Time

Aspartame, an additive that’s used as a sugar alternative. It’s most commonly found in low-calorie snacks and sugar free drinks all while James and Phyllis Balch, authors of Prescription for Nutritional Healing list this substance under the category of “Chemical Poison.”

Aspartame and Health

Dr. Russel L. Blaylock, a professor of neurosurgery at the Medical University of Mississippi confirms that this very “chemical poison” causes serious chronic neurological disorders. This is also the same substance that is responsible for 75% of the adverse reactions to food additives reported to the FDA, and many of these reactions are quite serious, including things such as seizures and death! It masks itself inside tasty foods like candies, diet sodas, fruit cups, teas, ketchup, and even protein shakes. You’re probably quite familiar with it, You’ve heard of “Aspartame” before, right? Some say it’s ‘bad’, and others say it’s not that bad… so what’s the deal?

Truth Behind the Sweets

Well, Aspartame is made up of three chemicals: aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol. Aspartic acid is an amino acid that acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain, it basically “excites” your neural cells to death. Its even referred to as an “excitotoxins.”

And Methanol… most of us know what that is, it’s wood alcohol and it’s also another deadly poison. The EPA reports that “the largest users of the methanol sold in the US are companies that make methyl t-butyl ether, a gasoline additive,” and they even classify methanol as a cumulative poison because it breaks down into formaldehyde in the body… which again is another neurotoxin.

So far this doesn’t sound too appetising now does it…? So, like the ants in the photo, it’d be in your best interest to stay away from this stuff. If you’re looking for an alternative to sugar, something that doesn’t raise blood sugar levels or pack on any extra sugar calories go with something like Stevia. It’s a safe and all natural sugar alternative. It’s actually part of the mint family and its 100x sweeter than sugar.

Better be safe than sorry.
